05x06 “i believe the children are our future”

- cas moves to sit down across from sam when they’re in the same room and once again they mimick the other’s body language

- cas tells sam that he can’t trust the boy will make the right decision since he didn’t. in short it seems like a bit of insult but it also shows that cas thinks that if sam winchester couldn’t do it, no one else can in the same situation which in turn shows how much actual faith he has in the younger winchester. on the same page sam looks upset that he disappointed castiel.

- when the boy turns castiel into a figurine, when sam looks the toy over he looks sad and upset that it happened to him. it’s obvious he was worried about the angel.

- whenever castiel is directing a conversation to both winchesters, it’s almost always sam and castiel who keep eye contact with the other during the conversation.
